2.19 Disputable taste in music and other phenomenons

When I woke up this morning, I knew something was different.
Yeah, you put on your outdoor clothes for sleep. That’s new.
No, that is not what I meant. I felt more powerful. As if the world was going to be mine soon. And then I remembered what happened last night! You told me the world WOULD be mine soon!
Okay, that’s not *exactly* what I said. Besides, as long as you are still a teenager, your father is in charge of this house and you have to keep listening to what he says.
*Keep* listening?
…you’ve got a point. Well, at least pretend to.

As long as he is nowhere to be seen, I can behave exactly the way I want to, right? And I now declare this house a place where you can eat the way you want to eat. *shoves waffles into mouth*
Please don’t take this the wrong way, but you kind of look like a vacuum cleaner right now…

Even future heiresses have to finish their homework. But since Willow is such a good student (which was proven in the last chapter, if you remember), this won’t be a problem. RIGHT?
Go away. *mutters under breath* I hate maths. Nobody needs math. Ever. I will never have to solve a f*cking equation with four variables.
Again: you’ve got a point. But this won’t get you out of studying.

The other kids were still alive, and being adorable. I’m a little worried that Xander spends so much time with his Imaginary Friend, because those use to freak me out in the game. They always appear when you don’t want them to be there, they take up your Sims’ time… can’t you do something else, Xander? Please?
*sings* “No woman no cryyyyyyy, no wooooman no cry”
…what?

Why do you need to be in the chapters? You are not heir, after all! Do you know who Dawn is, do you? Do you? She’s the main character’s little sister, and nothing else!
Nu-uh! Not true! Xander once said she’s not special, but she is extraordinary! *whimpers*

Alfie decided to prove that he is still, in fact, working on his LTW. How come?
Well, if I have to resign rather soon, it would better be with a BANG. Quite literally.
I’m kind of scared for the existence of the house right now.

Look, Tara, I can make my hand disappear. Wait, now it’s really stuck in my lab coat. This is awkward.
Do it again, do it again! *giggles*

It’s free, it’s free! Kids, don’t try this at home. That includes you, Tara.

Poor Willow was forced to work out again. Ivy, why don’t you ease up on her? Or at least give her some time to change?
She needs to look good for prospective husbands or wives! This way she will never find somebody!

…of all the habits you could adopt from your older siblings. *sigh*
*sings* “Get up, stand up”
Okay, WHO bought that Bob Marley LP?

Dawn is trying to keep up with cleaning up all the messes her family produces, but she doesn’t stand a chance. At least the dishes are gone now, ignore the toilet and the giant puddles. I don’t want to know where those come from.

Well, this is a somewhat awkward situation.

Ivy continued to run around in her underwear, and decided to catch up with her daughter – who was in her swimsuit – in Tara’s room. That’s better, of course.

You haven’t worked out for at least one day now! You will never find a man!

*sneaky smile*
I’m starting to feel really sorry for Willow.
Please tell me this will stop once I grow up?
Yes, I can make you do different things instead of listening to what she says.
Oh, thank God.

Otherwise things will get very ugly between me and Mom.
With that look: no doubt. Maybe we should give you guys some rest now. Do something different, like, I don’t know, building a snowman?
Are you kidding me? I’m not a child anymore! Snowmen are for kids, not for young adults!
You’re still a teenager, and if I were you, I’d make the most out of it. Once you grow up, all the responsibility is on you. If you don’t find a man/woman to have children with, there will be no family legacy. And it will be your fault. So do you really want to play adult now?
…snowman sounds fun. *hurries off*
Yes, I thought so.

  1. I love Willow so much. Though Tara's growing on me.

Does Alfie actually have a shot at completing his LTW?

    1. A small shot. Like, tiny. *holds fingers one inch apart from each other* Reaching the top of his career is not the problem, it's just that the science skill requires SO much work! It seems impossible to reach the next level, even when the sim is only at level 2 or 3. I don't think he will spend enough time on the science machine, though, as his family will probably want his attention.

  2. Poor Willow, being forced to work out all the time! I'm sure she'll make it up to her mom once she's in charge...

    1. Hell yeah. Ivy will definitely regret this. ;) I haven't played much ahead, so I don't know what exactly is going to happen, but I totally agree with you.

  3. I think she has heard of that saying, but decided not to listen to it. ;)
